The Faith Map was launched during Interfaith Week (22 November, 2011) by Councillor Alan Rudge, hosted by the Dean of Birmingham, the Very Reverend Catherine Ogle, at St Philip's Cathedral.

Those attending included members of the Birmingham Faith Leaders Group, the Faith Round Table, and faith communities in Birmingham.
