Welcome

The aim of this web site is to map and record the activities being undertaken by people of faith, or faith organisations, led and supported by Churches, Mosques, Synagogues, Gurdwaras or Temples, or other centres of religious activity and gathering, for the benefit of community groups.

The extent and depth of detail of the faith map will depend on the contributions from Birmingham's faith communities.

The Faith Map was launched during Interfaith Week 2011 by Councillor Alan Rudge, hosted by the Dean of Birmingham, the Very Reverend Catherine Ogle, at St Philip's Cathedral.

Those attending included members of the Birmingham Faith Leaders Group, the Faith Round Table, and faith communities in Birmingham. More photographs...

Successful consultation took place, during 2010 & 2011, across Birmingham's ten constituencies. Over 660 places of worship and gathering were contacted and invited to support this faith map.
